Lois Frankel believes every democracy only works when every voter has an equal opportunity to make their voice heard. She has opposed efforts to make voting more difficult and supported federal legislation, including the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, to strengthen protections against voter discrimination and expand access to the ballot. Lois also continues to defend vote-by-mail, which many seniors, military families, people with disabilities, and working Floridians rely on to participate in elections.
As Governor DeSantis and national Republicans attempt to gut the Voting Rights Act and illegally gerrymander Florida’s congressional districts to reduce Black and Latino voting power, Lois has stood firm against these attacks on our democracy and fought to protect free and fair elections.
