Since the 2020 election, voting rights and election integrity in Florida and around the country are being undermined and systematically attacked, especially suppressing the vote for people of color. Everyone deserves the right to have their voice heard and their vote count.
This is why Lois cosponsored the Freedom to Vote Act, which is bold and transformative legislation that expands early voting, ensures everyone can get a mail-in ballot if they’d like one, institutes automatic voter registration, includes prepaid postage on mail-in ballots, reforms gerrymandering, ends discriminatory voter identification laws, and provides necessary oversight to protect our elections from foreign interference.
